195 - Carl Thomas on When Shame Gets Real, The Power of Community, and Acquiring X3 Church

In 2019 Carl launched Live Free Ministries and created the Live Free Community App to help bridge the gap between millions of men who want help but lack the safe and supportive community needed to find real freedom. In 2020 he also launched Live Free Wives, a free support community, for spouses who need help as well and in 2021 became the CEO of XXXchurch.com.

In this interview, Carl talks about his new book, When Shame Gets Real, and talks about what finally inspired him to write it. He also talks about the early days of X3 Church and the unusual way he became involved in the organization before eventually starting his own thing, Live Free Community, which would eventually acquire X3 church. Carl also explains why he doesn't care about the future of the porn addiction recovery industry – his reasoning may surprise you.
